Kasawuli Hussein

Kasawuli Hussein was sponsored in Primary (FROM P5-P7) and emerged one of the best in the country in 2018 PLE with Aggregates 5 scoring a Distinction 1 in English, Distinction 1 in Social Studies, Distinction 1 in Math and Distinction 2 in Science. With such an excellent performance, Hussein was offered another full scholarship and is currently in S2 at one of our partner schools

Mugabo Haruna

Having scored 13 Aggregates in 2017 UCE, Mugabo dropped out of school due to lack of School fees as his O Level sponsor had pulled out. He sat home for a full year until 2019 when he was tipped about Amity Scholarships by his Auntie and decided to give it a try.  A 2 year full scholarship in a boarding school was granted to Mugabo to enable him complete his A-Level Education

Mukiibi Godfrey 2019 Full Scholarship recipient.

Godfrey sat for his UCE in 2018 and scored 19 Aggregates. He started working at construction sites as a porter since he had no hopes of joining A-level and/ or furthering his education. His O-level Bursary had ended. Godfrey lost both parents at a tender age. While he worked on sites as a porter, he was tipped about Amity Scholarships and applied. Together with one of our partner schools, we have Godfrey a full scholarship covering his 2years in a boarding school.

Osten was at the verge of dropping out of school after S4 because his parents could nolonger afford his school fees. “My friend Daniel a beneficiary of Amity told me about Amity scholarships and decided to give it a try”. Says Osten. 

We offered him a full scholarship for the 2 A level years at one of our partner schools where he emerged one of the best in UACE.

He’s currently a 2nd year student at Ndejje University pursuing bachelor’s degree in Electronic and electrical engineering on government Loan Scheme and is the 1st in his family to join University.

 “Amity has helped me access quality education in my journey to become an Engineer. I plan to start an Engineering firm after University” says Osten

Opira Justine is one of the Amity partial scholarship recipients in 2015.  He hails from Agago District-Northern Uganda.   “Having completed a Diploma in IT, I had no hopes for advancing to a degree though was my dream. My friend Innocent told me about Scholarship opportunities at Amity and I decided to apply” Says Opira.

Opira was supported to do A Bachelor of Information Technology at Team University and graduated in 2017.

“Amity has supported my dream of completing my degree and as I talk right now, am working with one of the best NGOs in the country as an ICT Assistant” says Opira.

Michael Opolot.

Opolot hails from Amilimil, Amuria District Eastern Uganda, and the 1st born out his 8 siblings.

Opolot sat and passed well his UACE exams in 2012 but failed to join University due to financial constraints.

In 2017, he learnt about Amity scholarships on social media and decided to give it a try.

He was offered a scholarship to do a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. He was set to sit his final exams in May 2020 but was disrupted with schools’ closure as a result of COVID-19.

In 2016, we were introduced to 2 bright Brothers Ocean William & Ekaal Jonathan from Kumi. The 2 had scored 6 and 7 Aggregates respectively BUT stranded with no hope of joining High School. With their good performance, they were offered a 4year full scholarship (S1-S4) in one of our partner schools where they consistently ranked among the best 4 in Class. They sat UCE in 2019 and excelled.

Jonathan scored 11Aggregates while William scored 21 aggregates winning themselves another 2year full scholarship on merit.

Namanya Elly

Namanya Elly Was fully supported to complete his A-Level at Universal High School where he excelled in 2019 UACE. He comes from a low income family of a single mother in rural village of Kashongi-Kiruhuura district.

Rubangakene Justine Rufai Jacquelyn K

Rufai Jacquelyn Kisakye And Rubangakene Justine both recipients of Amity Scholarship 2017.
Rufai and Rubangakene had scored 15 and 16 Aggregates at O-Level respectively and we offered them full scholarships at Standard High Sch Zzana for their A-Level. Rufai scored 20points from PEM and Rubangakene scored 19 points from PEM winning themselves government scholarships at University.
